Dinner Healthy Eating

The meal at the end of the day is as important as the meal at the start of the day. It is the last chance you will have to supply your body with the vitamins, protein and minerals found in the essential food groups. So, here are some suggestions for eating a healthy dinner, which need not take a long time to prepare.

Healthy dinner ideas

  • Pasta is a simple and quick meal to cook, and is a great supply of carbohydrates. 10-15 mins to cook, and prepare some chopped peppers for color. Add an oily fish for a super-meal! Avoid adding grated cheese to the pasta as cheese is fatty.
  • A jacket potato with rice, and salad.
  • A small pork joint, with potatoes, peas and carrots is relatively quick to make (don't boil the vegetables too long!)
